Bourton-on-the-Water Parish Council

About Us

The Council

The Parish Council is currently made up of 11 local unpaid volunteers who are elected for a 4 year term of office and who have a variety of responsibilities. The current term runs from May 2015-May 2019.

The Council Chairman and Vice-Chairman are elected each year and Cllrs Tim Faulkner and Bryan Sumner were elected at the AGM on 4th May 2016 as Chairman and Vice Chairman respectively. Following Tim's resignation at the end of October, the Council is in the process of co-option.

Grateful thanks are expressed to recently retired councillor, Julian Stocker, for his work on behalf of the community over the past 9 years.

More information about the elections is available on the News Page, which also contains a list of councillors elected and co-opted for Bourton Parish.
